Dragon Dreaming Introduction, march 2nd-4th Dragon Dreaming supports individuals, organisations and communities in creating successful projects for sustainability from their collective dreams and visions in highly effective ways. It makes sure that every individual finds his or her place in the whole naturally and quickly. DD honours the fact that once we follow our hearts intent, the separation between work and play dissolves. The actual plan for the project (including timelines, assignment of responsibilities and budgeting) takes on the form of a game board, which is then played out in real life. Dragon Dreaming Intensive, march 4th-9th In this workshop Dragon Dreaming is directly applied to exemplary projects. Participants are invited to bring their own dreams and ideas concerning projects that can be realised within a 6-month period. More in depth knowledge about the different phases of project planning and realisation is transferred. Empowered Fundraising is inspiring us, to organize money and to use it in the sense of our values. The main focus is on personal contact to the people we are asking, to be part of our projects through their financial support. What organisational structures can be so inspiring that it stimulates thousands of new initiatives at all levels of the community? We are in the 21st century trying to resolve problems using forms of association, incorporation and busi-ness structures that were pioneered in the 19th century. Not only do these forms of association seem not only to not be capable of resolving our problems, they have become part of the problem. Dragon dreaming, Train the Trainer, november 6th – 11th 2012 This Seminar is for Training to be a Trainer of Dragon Dreaming and to create a support-system between each other. People who have experience in Dragon Dreaming (facilitation of projects, own project) will come to a deeper understanding of Dragon Dreaming und Empowered Fundraising and the underlying philosophy. Practical exercises and tipps for facilitating projects or workshops will enabble the participants to hand on the method to others. Der Drache träumt sich nach Brasilien !!

An verschiedenen Orten finden gerade DD-Seminare statt, sechs Einführungswochenenden wurden schon durchgeführt mit sehr unterschiedlicher Resonanz ( 2 kleine mit nur jeweils 7 und ein großes mit stolzen 66 Teilnehmern !! – was allerdings grenzwertig ist… ). Nun kommt John selber her um Vertiefungsseminare und Empowered Fundraising-Wochenenden zu geben.
Geradezu ein Highlight ist ein Workshop in einem Favela-Projekt in São Paulo. Die Teilnehmer sind sehr engagiert und so macht es besonders Spaß, dass alle die dafür arbeiten, es ohne Honorar machen, egal ob es um die Übersetzung, die Leitung des Workshops oder die Organisation geht.
Insgesamt scheint es ganz gut zu gelingen, den Spirit von DD zu vermitteln und die Resonanz ist fast durchgehend positiv, oft sogar euphorisch und es bilden sich gerade lauter kleine Gruppen aus den Einführungsseminaren, weil die Teilnehmer weiterhin was zusammen machen wollen. Viele der Übungsprojekte werden tatsächlich durchgeführt !
Und es gibt auch jede Menge Herausforderungen, die vor allem viel Flexibilität und eine gute Zentrierung erfordern und eine gute Gelegenheit bieten, sich in weisheitsvoller Kritik zu üben und vor allem zu lernen, Fehler auch zu feiern :-)

Dear Gaians

What an amazing situation.

Julian Assange is considered a terrorist and should be “hunted down” according to Sarah Palin, who seeks to become president of the USA. Mike Huckabee another Presidential hopeful as well as the Prime Minister of Canada suggest he should be assasinated. And for what – he has been just a very successful journalist – exposing information that the Julian Assangepublic need to know, in order to make informed decisions about those who govern us. Unfortunately we have been lied to about Iraq, about Afghanistan, about assylum seekers, about government activities of all kinds for so long that when these lies are exposed for what they are – when the truth is exposed for what it is – the governments seek to conceal, to hide and to destroy freedom.

Rather than listening to the messages, they seek to shoot the messenger.

In Australia the Prime Minister demands that the Federal Police undertake an expensive investigation, not because any Australian law has been broken, not because he is a criminal in any way, but as a trawling exercise to see if they can find any example of anything that would allow him to be prosecuted. How much money will be wasted on this activity – how much of our scarece resources wull be spent on a man who is innocent, rather than seeking to capture the real crooks and criminals of our system?

Julian Assange is currently in jail, because he had sex with out a condom. Wow! This can be considered a crime only in Sweden. I wonder how Pope Benedict XVI would feel about this – he believes we should all have sex without a condom – would he be considered a criminal in Sweden. And he is in jail – not because he has broken any British law, but because he has unknowingly fallen foul of a Swedish Law.

And the woman who began the persecution in Sweden has links with the CIA. Why should this not be a surprise.
